Here are a few tips on getting started in the Orbacam app.

When you first open the app, you'll need to grant the Orbacam app access to the camera, microphone, and photos folders on your phone.

When you first open the app, your screen should look something like this

We're going to go through each of these to show how to create your first musical moment on Orbacam.

Select Your Part

This will give you the option to select between four different instrument modes: Drum, Bass, Chord, and Lead.

Change Sounds and Visual FX

This allows you to select from a wide range of instrument sounds as well as VFX.

Orbacam Menu

By selecting the circle icon on the bottom right side of the screen, you can access the Orbacam menu. From here, you can

∙ Learn more about Orbacam by selecting Info

∙ Connect your Orba to the Orbacam app

∙ Select the speed and volume of the Metronome to play in time

∙ Select the tuning of your song

∙ Adjust the audio settings of your video

∙ Flip the camera to make even your selfies musical

∙ Import any pictures or videos from your camera roll to make them musical

Here's a closer look at the tuning and audio settings

Tuning

Here, you can choose the mode (major or minor) and key of your song. You can also select which Octave you want to play in.

Audio Settings

Orbacam is all about making any moment musical, so we want you to be able to use the sound around you when making your song. In this menu, you can control whether you want to hear the microphone from your phone, any sound from a video you want to import into Orbacam, and Orbacam's built-in synthesizer.
