How many presets does the Chords hold onboard for each mode?

I thought for sure you would be able to put a preset in each of some number of slots which you would then get to by pressing A and 1-4 for the mode and then up or down on the bridge. That doesn’t seem to be the case though. There are presets but I don’t know if we can set them or how…
